THE CLASS OF 1991
Fifteen years ago, Kanda, together with
"THE CLASS OF 91," graduated from
"FLORA HIGH SCHOOL IN FLORA, ILLINOIS."
THE DATE WAS MAY 24, 1991 A DAY WE, AS WELL AS
"KANDA,"WILL AND WOULD HAVE ALWAYS
REMEMBERED BECAUSE "MAY 24TH
OF 1973, KANDA WAS BORN."
How could, we, Kanda's family ever, in our worst
nightmare, dared to think our daughter and sister,
"OUR KANDA" would be the 4th "LOSS"
IN THE CLASS OF 1991.
It even, after two years and three months,
seems like a bad dream and we will
awaken to a "NEW DAY" with our family
"THE WAY WE WERE,"
but, of course,
"OUR FAMILY WILL NEVER BE THE WAY WE WERE,"
that we are accepting more and more as we live each day without
"KANDA MICHELLE."
We feel very honored that "OUR KANDA MICHELLE,"
even though she is no longer with us,
has been remembered by her "CLASS AND MANY FRIENDS"
"CLASS OF 91 REUNION. "

SCHOLARSHIP, IN MEMORY OF KANDA, possible.
Thank you, KATHY BRADSHAW, for organizing the fund
raiser which helped immensely in building this SCHOLARSHIP
to the amount of $600.00. RACHAEL MACARTHY
will graduate from
FLORA HIGH SCHOOL in May and will attend OCC this Fall.

Even though Kanda's dad was in attendance to snap
a few pictures when
Rachael Macarthy was awarded
"THE KANDA JACOBS
MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP,"
the pictures were not of good quality for Kanda's web site.
We felt this " SCHOLARSHIP PAGE,"
in Kanda's web site,
would not be complete without pictures of
RACHAEL MACARTHY
so we have now posted a few pictures that were
taken at our home, Kanda's Parents.
The picture with Rachael and Kanda's nephew, Aaron
and niece, Ashley sitting in the WHITE SWING on our
porch are so especially close to our hearts,
because this particular swing belonged to Kanda.
While she lived on route 45, this swing always hung
on her porch with all the seasonal decoations
and when she moved into Flora, she hung it in her carport,
so we feel so proud to post these pictures, bringing
back many memories of
"THIS WHITE SWING."
Also we are so especially proud to have chosen

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP,"
and we sincerely hope that those who so
