I, Kanda's Mom,
am so honored to add this very special poem,
written especially for me,
by
A VERY TALENTED POET,
RALPH L. CLARK.
RALPH CAPTURES THE RAW PAIN,
THE UNBEARABLE HURT
WITH
""THORNS IN MY HEART""
after the loss of my daughter, my best friend,
""MY KANDA MICHELLE""
MY THANKS TO A VERY SPECIAL PERSON,
MY FRIEND, RALPH L CLARK
Thorns In My Heart
I can remember funny things my daughter used to do
her smiles and giggles, the first time she said: "I love you."
Her happiness, the first school papers she brought home
how proud she was knowing no answers were wrong.
Time passed too fast she was grown before I knew it
I missed my girl being a little girl, honestly, I have to admit
Maybe my mother felt the same as me after I was grown
Some thoughts I guess might be best kept unknown.
The terrible day fate suddenly took my daughter's life away
left sharp thorns in my heart that pains me more each day
When one of our children's life ends long before it should
it's a tragedy all of our lives will never be understood.
